LANTANA SPACE

 A socially conscious experimental contemporary art space designed to foster arts on the Sunshine Coast.

 We acknowledge the Traditional Custodians of the land, the Gubbi Gubbi people, on which we work and live, and recognise their continuing connection to land, water and community. I pay respect to Elders past, present and emerging. Sovereignty has never been ceded. It always was and always will be, Aboriginal land.

LANTANA is a regional Artist Run Initiative (ARI) in Caloundra run by four creative practitioners each working across various visual and performative mediums. Our aim is to connect the community and engage people with current and experimental art on the Sunshine Coast. This space is run by artists to support artists in works that are experimental, experiential and innovative through its offerings of exhibition and studio space, workshops, events, publications and creative output. Not only do we aim to facilitate other practitioners, we hope to educate and share current arts practises with the broader community.
